Even though our road trip got off to a bad start (see here) and we soon found out we weren’t exactly compatible as travel buddies (see here), I don’t want to whine about everything. We DID have some beautiful moments on the road and off.

The funny thing about the USA – to me – was the feeling of being on a movie or TV Show set. We stopped in a place called Cooperstown – a little town of no consequence (I guess). Its claim to fame is being the home of the Baseball Hall of Fame. We felt like oddballs for NOT wearing baseball dresses. It was so picturesque there, I constantly had the Gilmore Girls theme playing in my head.

Pretty houses of Cooperstown

After our (very) quick side-trip to Canada, we came back to the US and drove through Vermont and New Hamspire back to New York City. I really liked Vermont, despite all the rain. We had some of the best food there. ‘Nuff said.
